Delkor Batteries – Features

Delkor batteries emphasize two key features to ensure optimal performance for your vehicle: Hot Cranking Amps (HCA) and Reserve Capacity (RC).

HCA indicates a battery’s ability to deliver a strong burst of current in warm weather (typically around 80°F). This ensures a reliable start even on hot days when the engine demands more power to overcome heat-related resistance.

Reserve Capacity (RC) signifies the battery’s staying power. It measures the duration (in minutes) a fully charged battery can sustain a specific electrical load (often 25 amps) before its voltage dips below 10.5 volts. A higher RC translates to better performance when your vehicle’s alternator fails, giving you more time to locate and fix the issue without getting stranded.
